Hey, my name is Paula, I´m from Germany. I studied primary education and finished university in the beginning of 2023. After working and travelling through New Zealand, which was an amazing experience, I´m looking forward to exploring Australia soon! I had my first workaway experience on a campsite in Sweden and I think working in a different country is a great way to get to know the culture, to meet new people and to make friends.
I spend a lot of my free time with my friends, we love to watch movies, cook together, play games or hang out in cafes. I also try to do some sports from time to time, I started to learn kickboxing, which is lots of fun!
I am an easy going person, I like to be outside and explore new places.

I have lots of experience working in hospitality from working in a movie theater, at a cable wake park and in a restaurant. I volunteered at a revegetation project, where we planted native new zealand plants. I took care of children during my years as an AuPair and also gained experience in childcare during my internships in elementary schools. I am a team leader in a summer holiday camp, so I have good organization skills and I LOVE working together with other people.
