Hi there! My name is Noor Witteveen, i'm twenty-one years old as of right now and I adore travelling. I love seeking out new opportunities and challenges as I feel it connects me with myself more and others around the world. I am hardworking, flexible and social :). I love working with animals and people, and I love the outdoors. My goal is to connect with others, meet new people, create memories and connections and learn about their culture and lifestyle.

I'm open to any new experiences and I'm excited to see what the world of Workaway has to offer. :)

Que habilidades tienes?

I've just graduated my course as a teacher and will pursue Pyschology in the near future. I taught a class of children with a mental/physical disability whom are getting ready for the world and are actively working on getting jobs. I taught them usual things such as Dutch and mathmatics whilst also real life skills like social ettique whilst working and writing proffesional letters.

Since writing this, I've been able to do many amazing workaways and learn many different skills such as construction, fixing fences, learning even more about specialized animal care, gardening, housekeeping, making beds and reception work.

Other than that I travel as much as I can. When I graduated high school in my homeland I worked alot and saved up enough money to study in America as an exchange student! I lived with an amazing host family on the beautiful Northwest Pacific and had the most amazing time! Since then, I've tried to incorperate travelling whilst studying.

So during any vacations, I've seeked out experiences and I got to learn very diverse things and many wonderful people! I've been an Au-pair twice in which I cared for the kids. I cooked, read to them, cleaned, washed their clothes, put them to bed, made homework (in an interactive playful way) among other tasks. I've also volunteered at a Yoga retreat in Ibiza last year in which I cleaned appartments, washed , gardened, and talked to guests regarding their stay.

Overall, I have a good bit of skill in many things and I'm truly experienced in a couple, Hard work is never a problem and I feel I learn best hands-on. i'm open-minded and take feedback well.

Furthermore I volunteered at an animal shelter in Spain a couple of weeks ago where I scrubbed kennels, prepared food, gave the dogs their meds and played with them. I had the most wonderful time!
