First, let me introduce myself:

My name is Nina van den Heuvel,
I'm 28 years old.
I grew up in a small town in The Netherlands.
I work here in a restaurant for a few months and the rest of the year i like to travel and work overseas.

My passion is working and spending time with animals, meeting people, travelling and discovering new places.

I studied animal care and
after that i've always worked in this branch and also in restaurants/retail.

I grew up with cats & dogs,
I worked at different farms,
And have done internships at veterinary clinics and a police dog training company.
In my free time i also spend a lot of time with animals, including babysitting pets and walking dogs.

After I finished school, i went to Australia for 6 months to travel and do seasonal work and travel there, and I'd like to go overseas once again to help and work with animals, with people and in hostels/restaurants.

My mother language is Dutch, but I am also a fluent English and intermediate German speaker.
I also get around pretty well talking in Spanish and French.
I like languages and learning/teaching them!
I have an international drivers license and can drive both manual and automatic.

I'm a hard worker and don't mind to get dirty and roll my sleeves up.
I'm eager and always open to learn new things!

In my free time I love to read, watch series/movies, go out for dances and drinks, make jigsaw/word puzzles, go on walks and cook!

I'm a person who doesn't need much to be happy and at peace, and my goal in life is not to make as much money as possible, have a big house and a career and i'm kind of sick of living in a place where everything revolves around those principals. I'd rather live a simple, happy life, surrounded by nice people and animals!

Que habilidades tienes?

I grew up around cats, but i also have a lot of experience with small and large dogs and their behaviour!
I worked at farms, and am experienced in taking care of pigs, chickens, cattle animals and because of my internships i have also worked with reptiles.
I am also experienced at treating wounds of all kinds and giving medication. (also through IV)
I am able to assess situations and can handle blood, maggots, open wounds and all kind of things really.

I love to read, listen to music, have a laugh and overall have a good time.
I like all kind of board games and love jigsaw puzzles and card games!
In my free time i like to take walks, go to the beach and cook!
