I study forestry and ecology at the university of Vermont. I love to learn and play outdoors, especially in the mountains. I ski backcountry and nordic in the winter and run and bike in the summer.

I have experience working in outdoor forestry positions. I am comfortable spending entire days out in the field and can comfortable and safely move through densely wooded environments. I study forestry and ecology and am very curious about every plant I see. I am physically adept and have experience racing nordic skiing and ultramarathons. I like to solve problems and understand the mechanics of systems.

I am a fairly experienced woodworker. I have the most experience in using power tools and operating a lathe to turn bowls, tops, goblets, boxes, and more. I am also working on my woodcarving and spooncarving skills.
