Hello! I am Minami from Japan and I am 25 years old. After university graduation, I worked in a small village in Okayama Prefecture, where I was involved in the management and operation of public tourism facilities. I am attending a Folkehøjskole in Denmark now to learn Danish with my friend, Nanaho. She is also from Japan and is 25 years old. She worked at a miso factory and was involved in the production of miso, rice malt, and soy sauce after university graduation.
We like traveling, cultural exchanges, learning new languages and trying new things. We are also interested in sustainable living, agriculture, eco-friendly practices. Therefore, we would like to work and learn as much as we can about these topics from workaway experiences!

While we were at university, we took a year off and moved to a rural village in Japan to work as volunteer farmers because we were interested in agriculture and rural life. I was engaged in rice, vegetable, and fruit cultivation in Okayama, and she worked as a pineapple farmer in Okinawa for a year. Additionally, she also worked as a creator of signboards, cutting the wood, assembling it, and painting it.
