Descripción

My husband and I have taken a year off work to travel abroad. We would like to get involved with some volunteer opportunities in order to fully immerse ourselves in the culture, language and food of various countries. We also want to ensure our travelling is meaningful and productive. We are fairly active and enjoy nature and animals. My husband is a carpenter by trade currently working as a high school woodwork teacher and I am a social worker who works with children and families. We love to travel and hope our experiences with volunteering will enhance our adventures and experience.

I am a social worker with experience working with children and families. I am skilled at general housework (cleaning, laundry, cooking). I enjoy spending time with animals. I can do light gardening. My husband Jim is a carpenter by trade with experience in building, framing, roofing, windows. I would call him a Jack of all trades. He is also skilled at gardening and cooking.
