Hello there! My name is Mayla, and I am delighted to welcome you to this incredible journey of volunteer work abroad. At 29 years old, I’ve found my passions in music, culture, and helping others, and I’m excited to share these interests with you.

Music is a huge part of my life—I’ve been playing the piano for years and love exploring different musical traditions from around the world. Whether it’s classical or contemporary, music has a unique way of connecting people, and I look forward to bringing this harmony into our volunteer projects.

As a lifelong animal lover, I’ve always been surrounded by pets, especially my beloved cat. This has taught me empathy, patience, and the joy of caring for animals. I understand the special bond between humans and animals and am eager to work on projects that support animal welfare.

With a driver’s license in hand and a communicative spirit, I’m ready to navigate new places and connect with different communities. I speak fluent German and English, and I have basic skills in Spanish and Greek, which will help us engage more deeply with local cultures.

Volunteering abroad offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact while immersing ourselves in the richness of different cultures. I’m a communicative and sociable person who loves working with people. Whether it’s collaborating on a project, helping others, or simply engaging in meaningful conversations, I find great joy in human connections.

I also have a passion for experimenting in the kitchen. Trying out new recipes and discovering unique flavors is something I truly enjoy. Cooking is a way for me to be creative and share delightful experiences with others.

Nature is my sanctuary. I love spending time outdoors, whether it’s hiking, exploring new landscapes, or simply soaking in the beauty of the natural world. Being in nature recharges me and keeps me grounded.

Fitness is a significant part of my life. I regularly practice yoga, which helps with flexibility and mindfulness, and I also engage in strength training. This combination keeps me fit and ready to tackle any physical challenges that come my way, including heavy lifting or more demanding tasks.

With my diverse set of interests, I’m excited to bring energy, enthusiasm, and a strong work ethic to our volunteer projects.

I have a deep passion for painting and playing the piano, which allow me to express my creativity and unwind. Staying active is important to me, so I regularly engage in fitness activities, from yoga to strength training. I'm also captivated by culture and theater; there's nothing like the thrill of a live performance. Cooking is another passion of mine, I love experimenting with new recipes and flavors. Additionally, I love to read, as it constantly expands my horizons and fuels my imagination.
