Hi there! We are Matthew and Jess (28 and 26 yo) travelling around Australia as a couple. We love being in nature and meeting new people, and we'd love to learn more about sustainable agriculture practices. We are both honest, enthusiastic and hard-working people, keen to learn new skills and welcome new experiences. We're both strong and fit, happy to get our hands dirty and up to most challenges!

A bit about Jess: I grew up in the countryside surrounded by families with organic hobby farms, and have always been passionate about sustainability. After a few years of city living I'd love to get back into nature and learn more about farming, particularly growing fruits and veggies and keeping poultry. I love to cook nourishing veggie meals, yoga, reading, and knitting or crocheting in the sunshine.

A bit about Matt: I have always had an interest in working outdoors and very much enjoy physical labour or gardening. I love nature and animals, and I'd love to get away from the city for a bit! I exercise and work out often to keep fit and I will eat mostly anything. I am big into my music and would probably bring my guitar to practice quietly outside working hours. Other than that I would probably be reading or going for a hike/swim somewhere.

Que habilidades tienes?

We have some experience in agricultural work and garden care in small farms and communities. We are fast and enthusiastic learners, and are strong and fit. We have a strong set of practical skills from studying science at college, and some knowledge of the principles around sustainable agriculture. We have done workaways previously and have volunteered and lived in an eco yoga community.

We have both had animals to take care of throughout our lives. Matthew has experience with general maintenance and DIY. Jess loves to cook veggie meals, especially with homegrown produce. We are both creative and artistic and open to all sorts of projects available.

We enjoy a healthy balance of time on our own and with other people. We enjoy all sorts of games, music and activities. We have a car and we love getting outdoors to hike, swim and explore.
