helloooo there! 💫
my name is marlies, also called "mary" and i am excited to start a new chapter of my life travelling / volunteering.

i'm looking forward to learn new skills, find myself in deep conversations, exchange stories and life lessons and simply share good times with strangers that maybe become friends 💛

my soul craves swims in rivers, lakes or in the sea, crafting, chatting and hanging around with friends, trying new recipes, listening to music, dancing and goofying around and sometimes just watching the clouds pass.

i'm a sensitive soul, so from time
to time i need to recharge my social battery, reflect things and reconnect with myself 🦋

i worked with kids 11 years, about 2 years in an ice cream store and about 1 year in a cinema in vienna. what i love the most about these jobs was to get in contact with people and also to learn how to communicate well. and i really miss working with kids. they are so funny and they teached me much more than i could even teach them!!! 🥹

first of all i am very open to learn about different tasks. i love to get a detailed description and then i will work independently and i can assure you if i have any questions, i will ask :) i'm into tidying up and creating warm and welcoming places. i would also love to do some gardening, taking care of animals, repairing things, painting walls or fences - i'm very handy and precise. aaand of course i could take care of children - i did this nearly half of my life :) if there are any questions of my capabilities - please go ahead and ask!
