Hi, I'm Mary! My number one passion is travelling! For me travelling is more than just jumping from one country to the next. I want to actually experience the culture, eat local food, meet and talk to people, see more than just the tourist magnets. I believe workaway is a great opportunity for that!

Que habilidades tienes?
I studied International Business and Environmental Ethics. Both studies helped me to create a good understanding of a) business processes and departments and b) ecological and social development.
Due to previous jobs, I gained lots of expertise in marketing tasks, including website management, newsletters, filming, social media,... I would say I'm a really creative person! I also love being outdoors and spending time in nature! Oh and not to forget about one of my last jobs in a café - I know how to serve coffee and cake :)

Mary was an absolute pleasure to work with. She embodied professionalism and an amazing work ethic, besides she was really warm to the entire team. It’s impossible to find anything negative here - and we here and at our sister properties wish her the best luck in her travels and discovery.

Mary is very sweet girl, and a very proactive and diligent worker. She worked on all tasks assigned to her with sincerity. We enjoyed doing lots of things together including cooking. We would be happy to host her again:)

I spent two weeks on Shanu and Samayra's farm and it may not have been the last time!
The farm is a little piece of heaven! It's beautiful and peaceful, a good place to escape and recharge. The farm work consisted of planting, deweeding and mulching. I also spent time rearranging the outdoor kitchen area. Since my friend and I like food so much,… read more
