We are Marta and Guillermo — a couple from Portugal, travelling slowly throughout Asia.
We are not in a rush — our idea is to take our time and build meaningful relationships with the people we meet along the way. These are the true memories we take home.

Gui is a documentary photographer who is taking this journey as an opportunity to work on a personal project about spirituality. The places in Asia are truly different from the ones back home, and our curiosity about them has no end :)
Marta, among other things, is a yoga teacher (and will forever be a yoga student!) :)
We are two very hands-on, resourceful people who love to get involved in practical, grounding work such as renovating, taking care of animals, helping out on farms, or doing language and cultural exchanges. We’re quick learners, open-minded, and genuinely enjoy contributing wherever we can!
We’ve spent a lot of time painting and renovating places in Lisbon. We are not afraid of getting our hands dirty or working with tools. We enjoy solving practical problems and making things work again. We’re detail-oriented and love bringing order and calm to spaces, whether it’s homes or work areas.

Since we were there in low season there was not much to do, we basically just needed to take care of the house, maintaining everything in order and inhabiting the space to keep it nurtured.
We couldn't recommend it more :)
We stayed there in low season so the city itself was very calm - which was great to slow down and take the time to get to know the people around us. The location is perfect and so are the activities that the hostel puts together.
