I am Marieke (24) from Germany and I just finished my Bachelor degrees in Social work in the beginning of the year. After this I wanted to live some time abroad so I came to Palermo in June. I really felt in love with this place and I would love to learn the language, experience new things, meet nice people and help other people! I am an open minded and active person. At the moment I stay with a family doing workaway and I would be happy to meet some new people :)

I am well experiences working with customers and guests because I worked for years in eather a restaurant, a coffee bar or a beer garden in Germany. I am good in handling with stressful situations and working indepedently. I love working in a team with sympathic and nice people!

I also have a lot of experiences working with young children and older children because I started babysitting in my neighborhood when I was 13 and did a few internships in some creches (also in Capetown for 5 month).

I am open for learning new and make new experiences in different working fields!
