Hi there!

We’re Mariana and José, a Portuguese couple (31 and 32) traveling the world with open minds and a passion for meaningful experiences. We love immersing ourselves in local cultures, meeting new people, and contributing wherever we can.

What We Bring:

Experience: We’ve worked on banana and passion fruit farms, so we’re no strangers to physical tasks that require strength and dedication. We’ve also worked in a Roadhouse in the Australian outback, gaining hands-on experience in customer service, supermarket re-stocking, managing the kitchen, and serving guests.

Mariana: A videographer and editor with a creative eye for storytelling, I can help capture your projects or daily activities in a visually engaging way. My background in sports makes me adaptable and an excellent team player.

José: With a strong background in customer service and fluency in Portuguese, English, and Spanish, I excel in communication, problem-solving, and connecting with people from diverse backgrounds. I’m hardworking, approachable, and ready to assist in various settings.

Together, we’re motivated, collaborative, and share a love for animals and nature.

What We’re Looking For:

Opportunities where we can lend a hand while learning from the people and environments around us—be it farm work, pet care, hospitality, or creative projects.

- Practical and Physical Skills:

Experience working on banana and passionfruit farms, giving us the ability to handle physical tasks, operate in outdoor environments, and contribute to farming activities;
Familiarity with general maintenance, gardening, and tasks requiring strength and endurance;
Hands-on experience managing a Roadhouse in the Australian outback, including:
Customer service and guest interaction;
Supermarket re-stocking and inventory management;
Kitchen responsibilities, including meal preparation and serving customers;

- Creative Skills:

Mariana: I am a skilled videographer and video editor with experience in storytelling, promotional content, and creative projects. I can create professional and visually engaging media to highlight projects or businesses.

- Interpersonal and Communication Skills:

José: I have a strong background in customer service, with fluency in Portuguese, English, and Spanish, making me adept at communication, problem-solving, and working with diverse groups.

We’re both approachable, respectful, and collaborative, making us great team players in any setting.

- Adaptability and Motivation:

Mariana: My background as a basketball player has taught me discipline, teamwork, and adaptability.
José: Many years of experience in customer-facing roles have made me highly adaptable and solution-oriented.

We love working with animals and enjoy being surrounded by nature, making us enthusiastic about farm work, pet care, or wildlife-related tasks.

We’re both big fans of movies and TV series, always on the lookout for a great story to dive into. We also share a huge passion for music and love attending music festivals—back in Portugal, we rarely miss any!

Nature is another big part of our lives. We’re fascinated by the outdoors and spend a lot of our free time hiking, running, or simply exploring and enjoying long walks in beautiful surroundings.
