Hi there! I'm an adventurous, curious, artistic, driven, and caring human. Originally from California, with experience living and traveling in other countries.

Through Workaway, I would love to get involved in a project where I can help local communities. I care a lot about food security, sexual health, human rights, education, and self expression. If I can help increase any of those areas (or maybe others) in my Workaways, it would be an honor.

I'm a very active and athletic person. I love to learn to things and am ready to get my hands dirty.

Growing up, I was home schooled until middle school so my favorite form of learning is through experiences!

1 and a half years ago I chose to leave my California based job and look for adventure and learning abroad. So far it has been wonderful and I plan to continue to travel and work for the next couple years abroad. If I find a great fit, I'd love to expand my time in a single location or with a specific Workaway.

I am now a digital nomad and work a few hours a week online. I create community building and experiential learning experiences. Generally I have a very flexible schedule but occasionally I may have work meetings or online events that I am running.

I have taught partner dancing (tango, waltz, cha cha, etc.) as a side job and love to dance socially. I love to move my body in general and learn actively about what is around me. Community and connection is important to me (I'm a people-person!).

I have the dream of creating some type of "symbiotic" social impact organization in San Francisco. I'd love to learn from others about how they are running their non-profit organizations and possibly help improve what they are doing!

Que habilidades tienes?

Teaching: I am an experienced facilitator and program designer. I have led programs on a wide variety of subjects from urban gardening to personal development to political conversations.

Movement: I am an experienced dancer and partner dance instructor. I have worked with kids and adults and love to perform when possible.

Animals: I am an intermediate horseback rider who is very capable. I love to ride (especially in the service of getting something done - like herding animals). I also love cats and am comfortable with dogs. I would love to milk cows on a regular basis.

Kids: I don't have a lot of childcare experiences aside from taking care of my 3 and 5 year old cousins however I am really comfortable with kids who can express their needs.

Baking and cooking: I have worked in 2 bakeries as a cake decorator. I enjoy cooking in general and prepare varied, primarily vegetarian, healthy meals.

I'm generally a quick study and eager to learn and be of service!
