I'm Mandy, or you can call me Wang Changhong, hailing from the vibrant city of Beijing, China. With a passion for community living and a zest for exploring the world, I'm excited to introduce myself as a potential volunteer for your project.

My previous volunteer experiences have been diverse, ranging from immersing myself in yoga ashram communities to enjoying homestays and farm stays. These encounters have deepened my appreciation for working alongside both people and nature, whether it's assisting with household chores, contributing to community maintenance, or caring for animals and plants.

My journey has taken me to various corners of the globe, including Germany, France, Italy, Prague, India, Pakistan, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Australia. I've undertaken these adventures for study, work, and pure exploration. Each experience has added to my cultural understanding and my passion for connecting with people from diverse backgrounds.

As an outgoing and easygoing individual, I'm strongly self-motivated and committed to personal growth. My recent lifestyle shift toward minimalism has been a fascinating journey. I don't indulge in partying, drinking, or smoking and have an adventurous palate when it comes to food. I'm open to embracing different communities and assisting in any way possible.

Embracing an ancient Chinese proverb, I believe that every person I meet can teach me something new. I'm like an empty jar, eagerly waiting to be filled with knowledge and experiences.

In my leisure time, I'm an avid practitioner of yoga and a dedicated reader. I dedicate time each day to these pursuits. Additionally, I'm eager to learn new skills or hobbies through exchange or teaching sessions.

My heart melts for animals, especially dogs and cats, finding their innocence and cuteness irresistible.

There are a lot of things that I do love, such as:

⛳️ YOGA, I really do!!! It has become part of my life, as common as daily meal.

⛳️ Reading, but normally Chinese books, if you'd like to help me cultivate a habit of reading English books, I'll be more than happy to share with you anything that I'm able to!!!

⛳️ Cooking, and I'm good at Chinese traditional cuisine. Of course will try dishes in other countries as well.

⛳️ Playing poker, which does lubricate people's relationship especially when they just meet.

⛳️ Solving puzzles. Love the brain burning feeling, haha~ If you've got some, surprise me!

⛳️ Dancing, buuuuut, I can't dance haha, would love to learn tho~

⛳️ Drawing, not good at it tho, just enjoy the whole process.

⛳️ Talking to people, and sharing experiences or ideas about life, nature, culture, cuisine, the planet and everything.
