Hi there!
My name is Lou, I'm 18 years old, and I'm from Lyon, France. I've always dreamed of taking a gap year after high school to explore the world at my own pace, and immerse myself in different cultures. I haven't settled on a specific destination yet — so many countries are calling to me! — but I'm open to new ideas. Ideally, I'd like to travel between January and June 2025, but I'm flexible and ready to jump at any great opportunity before then.

I’d describe myself as positive, easy-going, and curious about everything. I love drawing, basketball, and cinema. I’d love to share this adventure with a travel buddy so I won’t have to travel alone. Although I don't have formal work experience, I've had plenty of opportunities to help my parents and friends with various tasks, from DIY projects to gardening. I'm definitely a quick learner and always eager to lend a hand, whether it's taking care of plants, cooking, cleaning, or helping with crafts.

I'm a creative person who loves expressing myself through drawing and painting, even if I'm still learning. I also enjoy making vlog-style videos to capture memories and share them with friends. I have experience in childcare, regularly looking after my younger brother and babysitting for other families, which has taught me patience and the importance of active listening.

I’m comfortable doing a variety of household tasks, whether it’s cooking, cleaning, pet sitting, or running errands. I'm also happy to share my knowledge of French if you're interested in learning!

I'd say I'm a bit introverted at first, but I love meeting new people and adapting to new environments. I'm curious, positive, easy-going and always up for a good laugh!
