Hi there, Manuela and I are avid travellers looking to get off the norm of just being a backpacker going from city to city, hostel to hostel and actually do something productive! We love to experience new cultures, meet locals, try new things and always willing to help in any way we can.
I am from the UK (Matt) and Manuela from Italy. My background is that I’ve been brought up travelling the world and have always had a zest for exploring new areas and cultures and have a strong passion for nature and all things wild. My working background is within Ecology and environmental conservation where i have worked to try and improve habitats and ecosystems for wildlife and humans alike.
Manuela has also spent a big chunk of her life travelling and volunteering. She has a lot of experience in hospitality and care work work too. We are both easy going and love to get to know others and always willing to get stuck into work.
We are currently in China working as teachers but will be looking to travel and volunteer in July and August.
We hope to be of assistance wherever we go and to make friends along the way.

We have varied skills between us; I have skills in gardening, basic construction, environmental conservation, English teaching and Manuela is very creative, good with design, art and teaching. We also both have a lot of experience in hospitality and have worked in resorts, hostels, bars and restaurants. We have also both taught english abroad.

I like to play the guitar, though im just a novice, love sports, I try to scuba dive regularly and we both love animals. Manu likes to try her hand at crafts and willing to try anything :)

Anyway, jokes aside, theyre truly amazing people that not only was helpful around the garden but also always so polite with their manners. I still remember our cooking classes and u can be sure i will be making the perfect version of the magic noodles in the future for u guys!
