I am looking to do a farmstay for 1-2 weeks from the beginning of January- around Jan 15th. I have a degree in sustainable agriculture and currently manage a diverse vegetable farm at home so I am comfortable driving tractors and other equipment and also know what it means to be a good worker. I am very social and would love to see what farming looks like on this side of the world and spend some time with some locals and see the area! Aside from farming I have worked a wide variety of jobs: landscaping, professional cleaning, bike mechanic, substitute teacher and bartender to name a few! So I am fairly handy and willing to help with any other household chores or tasks, and would love to learn more general carpentry skills if that’s applicable.

I worked for a year on a greenhouse bus and so I have some experience with plants and gardening and am interested in getting to know more about farming and sustainable living. I also have worked a couple restaurant jobs and understand the food and customer service industry and how to keep people happy. I also am very into photography and am looking into studying photojournalism, but could also use my skills for promotion and social media or websites. I speak decent Spanish and volunteered for a while teaching English to Spanish speaking students, and would be happy to help anyone practice English ( and try to improve my Spanish!)
