Hi I'm Tom and I live on a 10 acre small holding in Co Waterford and have relocated from London.
Over the last 5 years we have installed an off grid solar system that generates all our electricity, we have a wood fired range that is used to heat house and hot water as well as cook on in winter months .
We have a mobile home near Cottage that is powered from same Solar System and water supply from our own well, composting toilet and shower room. The mobile has 3 bedrooms and this would be used for your accommodation. We provide a well stocked fridge and larder so you can organise your own breakfast/Lunch and we have evening meal together at my Cottage 3 or 4 times a week.
The working day is 5 hours, 5 days a week and afterwards you are free to explore the local area as you wish.
Our Small holding is at the foot of the Comeragh mountains near Mahon Falls , We are in a Rural setting and a few miles from the nearest Town .
We need help to Build and repair dry stone walls as well as clearing land and some general maintenance including Building repairs and general Building skills would be really helpful but also some help needed around the house.
I hope to get around to establishing a Garden, so any horticultural knowledge greatly appreciated.
We have two commercial size pollytunnels that we grow all ouf food in so depending on what time of year will depend on different jobs on the growing side of things. We also now keep Hens and have a few pigs. So this placement would suit someone who enjoys hard work and not frightened to get there hands dirty.Tipos de ayuda y oportunidades de aprendizaje

The River Mahon flows from the Comeragh Mountains in County Waterford, Ireland.
Falling down the 80-metre Mahon Falls and proceeding past the "Fairy Bush", the river then passes through the village of Mahon Bridge and on past Flahavan's Mill and under the 8-arched rail bridge in Kilmacthomas. In former times, the river powered five different mills, one at Mahon Bridge, three at Kilmacthomas and one at Ballylaneen. The river is joined by the Ách Mór tributary river at Ballylaneen and ends its journey three miles further downstream at Bunmahon on Ireland's south coast. It drains into the region of the Atlantic Ocean known as the Celtic Sea.
The river is popular with whitewater kayakers. There has been no known source-to-sea descent to date but the river has been paddled from Mahon Bridge to the sea at Bonmahon by an international team of B1 and B2 kayakers in August 2012.
On 21 October 2005, Michael Reynolds, a kayaker from Tramore, County Waterford, performed the only known descent in a kayak of the vertical 55 foot drop at the top of Mahon falls.Un poco más de información
