A Lucrezia piace lavorare all'uncinetto, la fotografia e lo yoga. Lorenzo vive in una fattoria ed è appassionato di auto, meccanica e fai da te. Abbiamo già avuto la fortuna di usare Workaway e ne siamo rimasti molto contenti! Non vediamo l'ora di rifarlo :)

We love spending time outside, travelling and meeting new cultures. We love animals, nature and food🌺 Lucrezia likes crocheting, photographing and doing yoga. Lorenzo lives in a small farm and is into mechanics, cars and DIY. We have already helped as workawayers a few times and we are so happy about it! We can't wait to do it again :)

Que habilidades tienes?
Lucrezia is good at baking, photographing and crocheting. Lorenzo is a mechanical engineer who loves engines, technology and manual labor (chainsaw, grass cutter, carpentry tools, basic welding skills, cars maintenance, he also has the trailer driving licence and the tractor one).
For the last two years we have been working in a farm in Iceland and our tasks were:
- feeding calves with bottle, providing hay and straw, cleaning cow beds, ice cream making (Lucrezia)
- mixing hay, collecting hay bales from the field using a loader and a tractor with trailer, spreading shit, harrowing, miking the cows, ice cream making (Lorenzo)
In the meanwhile, we have also worked in a café and an hotel and our skills were mainly:
- taking care of breakfast
- cleaning rooms and common areas
- waiter/waitress
- help in the kitchen
- coffee making and selling

Lorenzo and Lucrezia were a delight to host! We had a joyous time with them.

They worked so hard; cutting grass, pruning, collecting rubbish, weeding beds, levelling an access road, making compost bins, starting a mandala garden and making a hugulkultur, and planting sorghum, hairy vetch, parsnips and peanuts. And that’s just outside!

We spent a month with this family and it was a beautiful experience! We stayed in a comfy cabin with the view of the lake and mountains in the back. BINGO!! I would say if you host and ask Lucrezia & Lorenzo for help with your project. A smooth process of work and Delicious Pizza is on your hand. Lucrezia and Lorenzo were absolutely fantastic volunteers that ended up working for us! They are hardworking and yet easygoing, up for adventures and dinners together. This was our first workaway experience: we spent one month there and it was amazing! Wojciech, Paulina and Riccardo are super friendly and easygoing, the tasks are clear and never too hard.
