I am a vet from Germany with focus on farm animals and horses and worked in a research institute for animal nutrition to finish my PhD. Aside from that I have working experience in giving riding lessons, stable work, pizza delivery, and selling in a bakery. During my workaway experiences I helped with weeding, cleaning, mowing, harvesting, fencing, easy construction projects, dog/house sitting and milking cows.

I stayed in the sleepout for two weeks and had a great time. Caro is a very friendly, open-minded host and provided an organized list of the tasks which needed to be done. The flexible working hours are an absolute bonus!

We really enjoyed having Leonie and it was hard to say goodbye. Although it was a big busy week she fitted in, pitched in and was soon just part of the rhythm here. Always helpful, asking great questions and just keen to get amongst it.
