We are a German Family living in Kerikeri. We are in the final stages of building an off grid house, and are looking for an experienced dog sitter while we are in Europe from early July until August 1st. We have 2 dogs, one 12 year old border collie cross, and a 5 year old German shepherd husky. Both dogs are very nice, well trained, and we will need help to take them on twice daily walks on our own property. They also love company, which means hanging out with them in the house. We ideally are looking for 1 or 2 people travelling together. Dog experience is a must. In addition we would like some help with looking after our chickens . We have had many great work awayers over the last 2 years, helping us with building, renovating and dog sitting.

The whole experience was really nice and for the first time doing something like this they were the perfect hosts. I had some of the best meals in a long time and had lots of fun while working with Stefan on various building and fixing projects. The dogs are very lovely and I will miss them and their shenanigans.
