Hello everyone! I am looking for communities and farm projects and am interested in projects related to sufficient living (gardening, bio-construction, especially working with animals, maintenance).

My name is León, and I'm on Workaway looking for great places, beautiful farms and amazing people and communities. I am here to grow and learn to live with and close to nature, and, above all, to spend a wonderful time on planet earth.
MY STORY
After finishing my studies of society at the university (sociology, philosophy, politics, economics), I left Germany, the country in which I was born, some years ago. Based on a strong gut feeling, I knew I had to go, I knew I was not at the right place. I cycled to and through Scandinavia, where my life began to change fundamentally. Step by step, I freed myself from many of the things I had learned to believe and pressure that was put on me, both from society and from myself. I slowly started to dive in a completely new life.
After a great time in Amsterdam where an impactful and magical encounter brought me, I followed the sun, cycling to Southern Europe and especially Catalonia, where I have been living for quite some time how. Here, I am finding more and more calmness, finding what represents the essence of my life, the essence of who I really am. I am finding my peace and am, more and more, learning how to live close to, with and from mother earth.
A LITTLE MORE ABOUT ME
Well, as even my name is saying, I am a Lion (León). I love to take care of my tribe, of my people, of the place I live at. I'm a great organizer and a good leader. I want the best not only for me, but for my people, for my family. Above all, I want to be fully present. What truly makes me happy is being together, taking care of each other, working together, creating together, and spending time outside, in and with nature.
Well, basically, as most people probably might say, I want the best for the world. That is also, for a big reason, why I mostly turned my back to "modern" society - to find and/or build a place, a (micro-)society, where people can heal and can be very well taken care of and, in short, live an amazing life in peace, freedom, happiness and unity, not only with each other, but also with nature.
For me, that goes hand in hand with having a wonderful place to live at, close to and intertwined with nature. It goes hand in hand with eating nutrient-dense food from mother earth. It goes hand in hand with connections between each other, hand in hand with hearing, seeing and respecting each other. It goes hand in hand with sharing the work that there is, sharing the upbringing of young beings growing into the world. It goes hand in hand with not only sharing great moments and the most amazing time by the fire or a BBQ, but also sharing the harder times, going through whatever difficulties life might bring.
Further Personal Projects
Besides that, I do, indeed, also love working on my projects, and I enjoy spending wonderful times with myself. When it comes to that, I am especially into both writing and playing/making music. That, so far, brought me to producing psychedelic dance music for quite some years. Even though, at least at the moment, I am taking some steps back from that genre, focussing more on other genres, the above shared and on other kinds of non amplified music.
Since 2023, I am also hosting and musically accompanying Ecstatic Dance, which I usually combin e with guided meditations and the shared intaking of the sacred medicine of the cacao plant.
Besides, I also am teaching traditional Raja Yoga, work as an Energy Healer and generally, under my project "Calling You Home", aim to bridge various ancient traditions, amongst that also the shaman teachings of the Andes, with modern neuroscience and psychology to help the human being to find its power, heal, flower, thrive and reconnect with the soul.
WHAT I AM INTO
To put it more practical, for the above explained, I am super duper happy about everything I can learn when it comes to living and enjoying a sufficient and autonomous life. This ranges from topics such as (self-) transformation, the organization of groups and communities to, especially, gardening, construction work, timber work, working with animals and agriculture in a regenerative sense or in the sense of permaculture and a lot, lot more. I no longer want to fight against a system, but rather take part in maintaining and creating another world.
PRACTICALITIES
I currently work remotely about two days a week to earn a living. For this, I need either WLAN access or a functioning mobile data network on site or in the neighborhood.
