Hi there! :)
My name is Lena and I'm 23 years old. I'm a very cheerful and positive person, I love to chat and get to know people. I have many interests and am sure to always find something that fascinates me. I like creative things such as arts and crafts, crochet, sewing, and so much more.
I love being authentically me and am hoping to learn more about who I am and who I want to be through my travels. To find my place in the world, try out as many things as I can and grow through experiences. I am a very sensitive person and while that can be a great strength, at times it can also be a weakness unfortunately, as things really need to 'click' for me. I need my down-times where I can just be by myself and recharge so that I am ready and energetic to get stuff done throughout the day :).
I am very interested in environmental friendly living, to learn about how to make things yourself and preserving skills passed down through generations. A few examples would be: working with fabrics, to make clothing that is meant to last and to create pieces that are as unique as I am :). Also working with wood and other materials, learning about building things yourself and watching ideas and projects come to life through your own hands. Learn more about sustainability, for example growing fruits and vegetables, tending to farm animals and such.
Of course, nobody is perfect and neither am I :). I love the conveniences that the modern world provides, I love to be connected through people from different countries and cultures through the internet, I love to play video games and watch movies, the comfort of driving a car to get places, having so many things right at my fingertips in both local stores as well as online shops. I'm not looking to be completely free of all of those comforts and I don't wish to pretend, rather, I want to learn more about my options and how to change parts of my life and routines to be more environmentally friendly. I want to live a life that has both, the comforts of modern day living, as well as more traditional, sustainable ways to exist in this world of ours.
I want to connect with people. Share my thoughts and be made to think about what's important in life. I want to grow as a person and am not afraid to reconsider my views on certain topics, an authentic opinion is one through knowledge and I'd love to be educated :).
I wish to share lighthearted conversations and enjoy life, as well as learn more about topics that may be a little more heavy on the heart.

As mentioned above, German is my first language and I speak it fluently. English I learned from a very young age and speak it almost every day as I have many friends online from America and other countries. I can help with translating things from English to German and the other way around and will do my very best to teach you either English or German if you want to :).

I'm fluent in both English and German, German being my first language. I'm great with animals and not very squeamish (although I'm a little intimidated by cows), I grew up around dogs and occasionally helped my great aunt out around her farm as a kid (Chicken, sheep and pigs).
I'm most comfortable working with dogs and cats as those are the animals I've had the most contact with in my life as a city child, we have a family dog at home that I've watched grown up and trained along with my mom, so I feel pretty confident handling dogs, but of course with an unknown dog (or any animal reall) it's gonna take a bit to get to know them and their habits before I'll feel fully confident in working with them. Around farm animals I may be a bit intimidated at first but I am certain I will warm up to them and do well once I'm told how to handle them.
I'm also great with kids! I did some volunteer work for seven months in a daycare setting at 18, working mostly with kids age 1-3.
I finished my apprenticeship in office management beginning of last year (January 2024) and know my way around office programs such as Excel, Word, and SAP (Financial Accounting Program).
I don't have much experience with construction work or farm machinery but eager to learn and quick in picking up new skills. I'm not afraid to lift and get my hands dirty, I may not be a strong young man but I am my father's daughter and since he doesn't have any sons, I am and always have been, the next best thing when it comes to carrying around furniture and such :).
I really love working in the garden and can spend a good few hours weeding and planting.

I love fashion and clothes are a way for me to express myself. I enjoy dressing in clothes that make me feel happy and comfortable, that are fun, colorful and expressive or cater to certain styles. I also enjoy dying my hair different colors and styling it in a variant of ways.
I have a bit of a sweet tooth and enjoy desserts and sweet treats a lot! I'm also passionate about good food and like cooking as well as eating food that makes me happy. I am, unfortunately, a little bit of a picky eater but will give most things a try, even if I'm not sure I'll like them :).
Although I like a lot of animals, I specifically love cats :). To cuddle up with a kitty in front of the fireplace in the evening would br a scene from my dreams.
I also have a fascination for horses and would love to get a chance to work with some, potentially even get to ride a little. I've taken some riding classes when I was younger although I'm not sure I remember much from those. I've also recently worked with horses (no riding, only ground work) on a beautiful little farm near my home as a vacation activity. Please ask me about it if you're interested, I'd love to share my experience as well as some pictures :).
