Laura: Hi, ich bin Laura Müller (und nein, nicht die vom Wendler, falls ihr ihn kennt :))) )
Ich bin 21 Jahre alt, komme aus Magdeburg in Deutschland und ich studiere gerade im 3. Semester Grundschullehramt.
Das letzte Jahr war ein schweres Jahr für mich. Zum krönenden Abschluss habe ich auch meinen geliebten Papa kurz vor Weihnachten verloren. Jetzt sehne ich mich danach, einfach meine gewohnte Umgebung zu verlassen und neue Dinge zu erleben. Eine WorkAway Erfahrung habe ich bereits gesammelt. Vor zwei Jahren waren mein Freund und ich in Katalonien auf einer Mandelplantage und haben dort für zwei Wochen gewohnt und gearbeitet.Es war so toll, dass ich mehr Erfahrungen dieser Art sammeln möchte.

Ich selbst würde mich als sehr offene, lebensfrohe und positive Person beschreiben, die sofort super mit Menschen connecten kann. Mit mir kann man über alles reden, mal ein kleiner Smalltalk, aber auch tiefsinnige Gespräche kann man mit mir führen. Egal wann, wo, wie und in welcher Situation, habe ich ein offenes Ohr und höre anderen Menschen sehr gern zu.

Wie gesagt, ich komme allgemein super mit den verschiedensten Menschen zurecht, das gilt auch für die, die relativ neu auf dieser Welt sind. Für Kinder habe ich ehrlich gesagt sogar eine Schwäche, weshalb ich später Grundschullehrerin werden möchte. Doch ich weiß, es gibt noch viel zu entdecken, wofür ich unsere Reise unbedingt nutzen möchte. Vielleicht komme ich meiner Selbstfindung so ein Stück näher.

Letztes Jahr waren Hannes und ich für zwei Monate in Thailand. Dort haben wir einfach jeden Tag Muay Thai trainiert, trotz täglichem Muskelkater :D Seit dem mache ich K1 (Kickboxen). Ansonsten koche ich gern allein oder auch sehr gern in Gesellschaft. Vor ein paar Jahren habe ich meinen Freunden gerne Braids geflochten.. Ich liebe es einfach etwas künstlerisches zu erschaffen, weswegen ich auch gerne öfter etwas male. Seit einem traumatischen Ereignis letztes Jahr, habe ich meine Leidenschaft fürs Yoga entdeckt.. vor allem für langsameres (Yin Yoga). Ich bin kein Profi auf dem gebiet, aber ich lerne immer mehr meinen Körper und Geist in Einklang zu bringen.

Zudem ist es sicher interessant für euch zu wissen, dass ich wirklich sehr tierlieb bin.
Ich selbst habe zwei Hunde zu Hause - bzw. einen Hund und eine Fußhupe ;)
Schon von klein auf hatte ich immer Tiere um mich herum und bin an sie gewöhnt.
Meine Liebe zu Tieren hat dazu geführt, dass ich mich seit 4 Jahren pesketarisch ernähre.

Durch meine hilfsbereite und lernfähige Art, habt ihr mit mir eine super Hilfe zu Hause.. sei es im Garten, beim Kochen oder bei anderweitigen Projekten z.B. am Haus. Wo ein Wille ist, ist auch ein Weg… :) :)

Hannes: Hey, ich bin Hannes Waldmann, 22 Jahre alt und komme aus Magdeburg in Deutschland. Zur Zeit studiere ich Wirtschaftsingeneurswesen an einer Hochschule in Magdeburg. Was ich später mit dem Studium machen werde, wird sich noch zeigen :) Bis dahin habe ich allerdings noch viel Zeit, um dem nachzugehen, was ich liebe, wie z.B. dem Reisen.

Schon von Klein an habe ich eine Schwäche bezüglich anderer Kulturen und Orten entwickelt. Das liegt daran, dass ich schon relativ viel gereist bin. Genug habe ich davon aber noch nicht. Ich würde am liebsten die ganze Welt bereisen und entdecken (was natürlich kaum Machbar ist, aber ich stehe fest dahinter, dass nichts Unmöglich ist, solange ein Wille vorhanden ist). Es reizt mich einfach selbstständig Erfahrungen und viele neue Eindrücke zu sammeln, mich weiterzuentwickeln in jeder Hinsicht. Daher bin ich für gute, spirituelle Gespräche immer offen und höre anderen Menschen super gerne zu.

Ich würde mich als offenen humorvollen Menschen beschreiben. Zudem bin ich ein sehr aufmerksamer und hilfsbereiter Mensch. Bei Projekten jeglicher Art bin ich steht’s dabei. Ich beteilige mich vor allem gern an Projekten, in die ich meine Kreativität einfließen lassen kann. Das schönste Gefühl daran, ist das Ergebnis zu sehen, zu wissen, man etwas geschaffen. Ich kann euch beruhigen, denn ein Einzelgänger bin ich bei so etwas nicht. Auf Teamarbeit lege ich auch großen Wert, da man so lernen kann sich auf andere Menschen und deren Fähigkeiten einzustellen und mit ihnen zu kooperieren und sich zu ergänzen. Dabei können die schönsten, lustigsten und vor allem auch die sinnvollsten Projekte entstehen.

Nicht nur die so eben genannten Dinge machen mich als Menschen aus, sondern auch die Musik. Auch dort mag ich die Vielfalt. Wenn Du/Ihr lieber Stille der Musik bevorzugt, kann ich euch beruhigen. Denn Stille und vor allem die Klänge der Natur weiß ich nebenbei sehr zu schätzen und zu genießen. Erwähnenswert ist, dass ich nicht nur Musik höre, sondern sie auch selber mache. Ob mit meinen Freunden zusammen oder auch mal alleine, ich kann dies nutzen, um meine Gefühle zu verarbeiten und meine Gedanken zu sortieren.

Ich bin auch gerne sportlich aktiv. Zur Zeit trainiere ich Muay Thai. Ob ich das hier rein schreibe, habe ich eine Weile überlegt, da sich leider viele schnell ein falsches Bild machen. Doch kein Grund zur Sorge, ich bin ein sehr fröhlicher und friedlicher Mensch.

Erfahrungen mit Work Away habe ich zwar noch nicht, habe aber bereits einige Schüleraustausche hinter mir und konnte somit schon interkulturelle Kompetenz lernen. Das führt mich zu den Sprachen, die ich spreche. Meine Muttersprache ist Deutsch. Französisch habe ich seit der Grundschule, konnte es aber die letzten zwei Jahre nich wirklich nutzen, weshalb es ein wenig eingerostet ist. Aber mit ein bisschen Übung wird das wieder. ( auch einer der Gründe zum Reisen) Englisch spreche ich fließend und auf Spanisch kann ich mich zur Not auch verständigen.

Ich hoffe, ihr konntet einen kleinen Eindruck von mir bekommen.

Seit dem wir uns kennen, sind wir zu einem starken Team zusammengewachsen.
Das liegt vor allem daran, dass wir beide großen Wert auf Kommunikation legen, weshalb Sie keine Bedenken vor Streitereien unsererseits haben müssen.
Lassen sie sich daher nicht von dem Fakt abschrecken, dass wir ein Paar sind, denn genauer betrachtet kann dies viele Vorteile mit sich bringen.
Projekte und Arbeit bei euch oder dir können beispielsweise so schneller und vielleicht sogar auch kreativer, besser durchgeführt werden

Hi, my name is Laura Müller.

I am 21 years old and from Magdeburg, Germany. I’m currently in my third semester of studying elementary education. Last year was a tough one for me, and to top it off, I lost my beloved dad shortly before Christmas. Now, I’m longing to leave my usual surroundings and experience new things.

I’ve already had one WorkAway experience. Two years ago, my boyfriend and I spent two weeks living and working on an almond plantation in Catalonia. It was such an incredible time that I want to collect more experiences like that in the future.

I’d describe myself as a very open, cheerful, and positive person who connects with new people very quickly. You can talk with me about pretty much anything—whether it’s casual small talk or a deep conversation. No matter when or where, I always have an open ear and genuinely enjoy listening to others.

As I mentioned, I generally get along well with all kinds of people, including children. I have a real soft spot for kids, which is why I want to work as a primary school teacher in the future. But I also know there’s so much more to discover, and I hope this journey will help me find myself a little more.

Last year, my boyfriend Hannes and I spent two months in Thailand. We trained Muay Thai every single day—even with constant muscle soreness! Since then, I’ve started doing K1 (kickboxing). Apart from that, I love cooking, whether by myself or with others. A few years ago, I enjoyed braiding my friends’ hair, and I still love creating something artistic, like painting.

After a traumatic experience last year, I discovered yoga—especially slower practices like Yin Yoga. I’m not a pro yet, but I’m learning more and more about how to balance my body and mind.

It might also be important to know that I’m a huge animal lover. I have two dogs at home—well, one dog and one little “ankle biter.” Growing up, I was always surrounded by animals, so I’m very comfortable with them. My love for animals also inspired me to switch to a pescetarian diet about four years ago.

Thanks to my helpful and eager-to-learn nature, I can be a great helping hand around the house—whether it’s in the garden, the kitchen, or with other projects like housework. Where there’s a will, there’s a way!

Hey, my name is Hannes Waldmann, I ´m 20 years old and from Magdeburg Germany.
At the moment I’m studying economical engineering, but we will see as what I will work later… but until that, there is much time left to spend on things I like, traveling for example.

Since I was a kid I was interested in discovering new places and cultures.
This passion probably comes from the journeys I was on already, but I don’t have enough yet.
If I could I would want wo see every place on earth. Sounds impossible and it maybe is, but I’m convinced that you can reach everything, if your will is strong enough.
It’s really important to me, to win new experiences and develop myself in any possible way. So I’m always available for good spiritual or just normal chats. I also love to listen to people who have to tell a good story.

I am a pretty open and humorous person who is also attentive and can be helpful when it comes to projects of any kind. Mostly I like creative projects.
The best thing about those, is to see their results and being proud, eventhough the route can also be the goal :). I also enjoy good teamwork, because I estimate to learn from experienced people and grow my own experiences due to that.

Also music is a really big part in my life. There I also like diversity. But no worries, if you rather like silence, I also love quiet places and moments and love to listen to the noises of nature. Speaking of music, I don’t only listen to it, I also make it myself. I am in a rap collective with some friends since 3 years but also produce songs on my own. I use that to process my feelings and sometimes to order my thoughts.

Sport is really important for my confidence, self love and obviously for my fitness. At the moment I’m training Muay Thai and have trained MMA before.
I’ve actually thought a while about writing this here, because many people have a wrong sight on martial arts, thinking everyone practicing is aggressive and crazy. But the exact opposite is actually the case (at least everyone I know). It’s just much of a challenge for body and spirit and I definitely am a peaceful and happy person.

Until now I don’t have any experiences with workaway, but I’ve done some student exchanges already and had the chance to learn international competence. That leads me to the languages I speak. My native language is German, while I’ve learned French since primary school. But unfortunately I need my time talking due to the lack of usage. (But if you give me about 2-3 weeks, it will probably become fluently :) ) I speak english fluently and I can communicate in spanish.

It would be a pleasure to me to meet you once.

Since we know each other, we have grown together to a strong team, which has its cause in our consciousness of communication (, just so you know, you won’t have to deal with annoying fights of us).
So don’t have any doubts because we’re a couple. Actually there are more benefits of it. We are a rehearsed team and able to complete tasks fast and efficiently or more creative.

But enough of the marketing ;)

We are just two young persons which you can experience cool stuff and always have fun with… :)

We both have worked in different jobs already. Laura for example has already worked in restaurants in different places, may it be the kitchen or as a waitress. She also has experience with baby-/ or child-sitting and has already done some DIY projects. Hannes has also experience with DIY projects. He has worked on the building site and has spent some time in a Porsche car workshop, but has also done a internship in a primary school.

Creative projects or work are neither a problem, while getting things properly also works.
