Curious, kind-hearted, insightful, and bubbly - these are just a few of the words friends and family use to describe me. Born and bred in Chicago while hailing from a half-French-half American family and the youngest of 4, I love creating meaningful connections with others through my experiences, life philosophies, and shared skills- life is truly better when shared!

I had the incredible opportunity to do Workaway in Australia and Italy from 2018-2019, living in eco-villages, permaculture communities, and on farms. These experiences have greatly shaped me, offering a wealth of knowledge and hands-on learning. Now, I’m back in Australia for a few weeks and looking for sacred spaces to reconnect with the land and community, and continue my journey of slow, mindful living. It is a joy and real meditation for me to work with my hands alongside others.

While I have a formal bachelor degree in International studies, Chinese, and French, I have an array of hobbits and interests. Currently, I am extremely interested in sustainable living and organic foods, as I want to make cities greener and teach others how to live sustainable as we approach a world population crisis. However, I am keen to learn anything! I am a hard worker with an array of hard and soft skills. I am a highly observant, analytical, and creative thinker. In fact, I love problem solving! I love understanding how things presently work, and offering a fresh perspective on how to improve them. I am social media and tech savvy, and I work well in teams as I am an engaging listener with good communication skills. That being said, I am also independent and eager to take on projects on my own. In general, I have a "get up and go attitude". I have participated in a handful of community service projects at home and abroad, such as building a school from scratch in rural Tanzania to constructing a small community garden in Chicago. I was also a camp counselor for a few summers and volunteered my time at a nursing home so I am good with kids and elderly. Overall, I have a genuine desire to he others through civic engagement!

Recent workaway opportunities have awarded me the opportunity to learn a whole lot of new skills and knowledge, relating to permaculture and sustainable living such as mulching, compost teas, and creating nutrient beds to name a few.

I love being outdoors in nature, taking time to reflect on life, attending workshops, reading current events and historical novels. I practice yoga daily, love to cook, and dance dance dance!

I have been and will continue to be honest about my expectations and skills, and I really hope that my future hosts can be equally as detailed and transparent with me :)
