I'm an active, bubbly, positive person. I have often been described by friends as a ray of sunshine, so I hope to bring lots of light and energy to any work away placements I take part in.

I love meeting new people, doing various sports (my favourites include climbing, hiking, running, surfing and pole dance), and enjoy being creative (e.g. planning murder mysteries and other organised fun events, baking, colouring, painting etc).

I feel my happiest when I'm surrounded by friends, am out in nature, and it's always a bonus if there is a dog around! My happy place is climbing on sea cliffs in Swanage, on a calm and sunny day with my sister.

I'm currently planning a big trip / move to Canada in August, starting in the Vancouver area, and I'm excited to find some work away placements to meet people and learn new skills (or put old ones to use)!

This is my first time using work away, but I have previously au-paired and volunteered internationally through other schemes/sites, so the idea of volunteering / working in this way isn't completely new to me.

I have experience dog sitting, au pairing / baby sitting, and I have professional work experience working for social change within the education sector, in event planning and project management.

Que habilidades tienes?

I am currently working in Education and events, working with young people aged 13-18, and have had quite a lot of experience working with young people in different settings (au pairing, other volunteering and work experience). I have also had lots of experience with event planning and project management through work, volunteering, and also planning social events for my friends.

I have grown up with many pets and have dog-sit for friends many times. I love animals.

I studied International Development and French, so I can speak a fair amount of French, although it may be a little rusty at the moment.

I am really organised, and can be very creative so I really enjoy planning events and organised fun.

I also love cooking and baking, and have had many years refining my culinary skills!
