Hi! My name is Rana. I've been traveling full-time in my van since March 2024, mostly around Germany and France and am currently traveling solo around South East Asia.
I spend my free time drawing, tattooing, writing, doing pottery and being active outdoors. I would love to learn more about pottery and wood-firing, foraging, herbal medicine, permaculture and carpentry! Also, I'm a surfer, and therefore appreciate any Workaway opportunity that allows me to surf.
I'm open-minded and ready to meet people who I can learn from but also give back to, be that in the form of physical labour, a creative exchange, friendship, etc.
I am trying to improve my french, which is currently at level B2 and would love the opportunity to do so during a language exchange!

I am a very active person with a corresponding high level of fitness. I enjoy work that is physically demanding.
Learning by doing is the motto I go by-- I am prepared to take part in projects that are new to me. Only in doing so can I learn anything new.
I am keen to learn more about anything to do with carpentry, gardening, permaculture, cooking, pottery etc. and can offer my existing skills in these areas as well!
