Hello! My name is Karo. Originally from Poland, at the age of 6 I moved to England with my family. I have been travelling around Asia since January 2024 and love to get to know places properly by volunteering. I like exploring and learning about different cultures, always eager to try new things!
I am very open minded and enjoy speaking to people :)

Great communication and people skills. During my travels I have taught English in Vietnam (Hoi An) worked in a hostel in Thailand (Ao Nang), volunteered with an outdoor activity company in Japan (Minakami). Helped out in a hostel in Malaysia (Melaka).
-I can think fast if needed to solve problems while staying organised
-Effective teamwork skills
-Good listener
-Being able to adapt to any environment, which has definitely helped when travelling

I love exploring new countries, languages, food (this one sometimes a little too much :) ) , people,culture.
In my free time, I go for walks, read books, write, yoga, meditation and listen to music.
Recently I have discovered a like towards surfing which I tried for the first time in the Philippines.
In the evenings, nothing beats a good card game!
