Hi there!
I’m Junling, a university student with a passion for adventure and cultural exchange. I love meeting people from all walks of life, sharing stories, and learning about different ways of living. Whether it’s through work, travel, or conversations, I believe every interaction is an opportunity to grow.
I’m eager to spend my summer break immersing myself in meaningful experiences—helping out, learning new skills, and exploring the world. Workaway feels like the perfect way to do this: I get to contribute my energy and enthusiasm while gaining insights into local life, whether it’s through farm work, animal care or hospitality.
I’ve worked in restaurants and volunteered at animal shelters and zoos, so I’m no stranger to hands-on tasks. With experience at shelters and as a pet owner (my cats back home are spoiled rotten!), I’m comfortable caring for animals big and small. I play baseball and volleyball in uni and would love to try new activities like riding or surfing, depending on what type of work I can find. I value cleanliness and will treat your space as my own.

I worked in a restaurant before, assisting the kitchen with food preparation, serving customers, and cleaning up the space. While I wasn't a professional chef there, I cook regularly at home and can whip up basic Chinese dishes, If you'd like a taste of Chinese food, I'd be happy to make some for you!

Also, I used to volunteer at a stray animal shelter that rescued both cats and dogs. My daily tasks included cleaning cat enclosures, walking dogs and playing with them-so I've gained plenty of experience caring for pets. Whether it's keeping their spaces tidy, ensuring they get exercise, or simply giving them love and attention, I know what they need to feel comfortable and happy.
