Hi there!
Me and my pal, Jonas, are going to Vancouver in start April from which we will drive up north until end of June (BC, Alberta and maybe Alaska).
Fishing for e.g.trout, char and salmon, hiking and seeing nature are our main objectives.

At the same time we are afraid of just becoming annoying drive-by-tourists, that haven’t spoken a single word to anyone actually living in North America.

That’s why we both got pretty ecstatic, when we saw the kind of volunteering opportunities there is in Canada and Alaska alike!

Helping out with maintaining, cleaning or likewise, we think, is a cheap price, for getting to live in awesome surroundings with awesome hosts😎

We are 20 (Julius) and 21 (Jonas) years of age, and are both keen anglers as well as former elite fencers on the Danish National team, so physical work isn’t a problem.

Que habilidades tienes?

- Both us have experience in working with children, both in preschool and as substitute teachers in elementary school.

- High level of fitness, since we are former elite fencers on the Danish National team!

- We are both a bit nerdy about ecology and wants to learn more about it wherever we travel.

- We both love to fish!

- Julius does a little fly fishing and spearfishing as well.

- Jonas is good at cooking (and eating) - mostly Italian cuisine.

- We can both help with practical tasks on an intermediate level, and should be able to learn fast if we don't have experience with something;)
