I love adventures of all shapes and sizes, whether that be hiking hours up mountains and through jungles or wandering around villages exploring new places. I consider myself a people person and love to meet new people and learn about them, their tastes and cultures. I am currently learning Spanish so I can chat with even more people. Though with my Irish accent, rolling my R's is still a work in progress!
I am self sufficient and a pro-active learner and I take pride in a job well done. Previous to travelling I lived in Vancouver, Canada and worked as a Client service manager in an insurance brokerage. I managed a large book of business and have experience with client relations, account management and anything administrative. Outside of business, I am a qualified Yoga teacher and an experienced gymnastics coach. I enjoy being in nature and working with my hands in the dirt and am content doing any manual work. I also love working with children and find their sense of fun infectious. I have worked as a camp counsellor in the U.S. as well as a daycare assistant caring for and entertaining children from ages 2 - 14 in Ireland.

I am a qualified yoga teacher and have been practicing myself for over 5 years. I am confident in leading classes and adjusting postures. I have a background as a competitve gymnast for over fifteen years and coached for a further five years which helps in my understanding and teaching of the physical aspects of yoga.
I also love to work with children and care for them. I worked as a camp counsellor in the U.S. in which I organised activities, games and led camping trips. I also worked as part of a team to ensure a smooth overall running of camp solving any issues as they arose. I have experience working in a daycare, caring for children, preparing and serving them meals as well as cleaning and closing the day care each evening.
I have some experience working in gardens, fertilizing plants , weeding and gathering rocks to build paths.
Lastly, I have spent seven years in the insurance industry and have experience in multiple facets of business including negotiating, contract review, team and client management .

I love to stay active and in my free time when I am not doing yoga or hiking I like to participate in triathlons and have completed a half iron man to date. Outside of physical activities I like to relax by going to museums, or listening to music. I am also eager to learn to surf!
