  Descripción

  Bruno, originally from Poland and living in Germany for many decades, is now embarking on a heartfelt new project on La Palma – the island of his dreams. His goal is to lead a largely self-sufficient and self-determined life. The new homestead is located at around 400 meters above sea level and offers a breathtaking view of the Atlantic Ocean and the surrounding islands.
  
  As the son and great-grandson of gardeners, Bruno brings a wealth of knowledge about plants, cultivation methods, soil science, and much more. He loves sharing his expertise and takes an active part in cultural exchange. A warm, family-like atmosphere is central to his way of life and has already helped him build strong connections within La Palma’s German and Polish communities as well as with his Spanish neighbors.
  
  Bruno offers free accommodation and meals.
  In return, he appreciates help with gardening and maintaining the land, as well as support with daily household tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and organizing.
  
  If you're curious about the island, Bruno is happy to share his knowledge and show you some of the most beautiful and hidden corners of "La Isla Bonita".

  I’m happy to share the experiences I’ve gathered over many years of living in Poland, Germany, and on La Palma with anyone who’s interested. I have a lot of knowledge in gardening and manual help, which I’m glad to pass on. With me, you can learn how to cook, practise using gardening tools and simple construction machinery, work with wood – and much more..

  Ayuda

  In the short term, I would be happy to host a volunteer for around 2–3 weeks.
  The main focus of the work would be garden maintenance.
  
  If you have experience or genuine interest in gardening, landscaping, or plant cultivation — and you bring understanding, endurance, and sometimes a bit of physical strength — then you would fit in well here. Simply wanting to “give it a try” is not really enough.
  
  The tasks mainly include weeding, watering, and shredding garden material.
  
  Basic cooking skills would be a plus, as we could then take turns preparing meals in the kitchen, but this is absolutely not a requirement.

  Alojamiento

  The southeast of La Palma, where we live, is among the green areas of the island. It rains more frequently here than in the west, making our surroundings noticeably greener. We have a small Canarian house that serves as our sleeping quarters, where everyone has their own bed. A kitchen and a bathroom are also available for use.

  From our location, it's not far to the Cumbre Vieja Nature Park, and the first hiking trails start almost directly behind the house. Playa Salemera is also within reach, and you can reach the capital, Santa Cruz de La Palma, by bus in 30 minutes.
