We are a couple, named Josephine and Matt, we’ve been together for 3 years now. We’ve worked and lived and travelled together over these years.

In this time we’ve been cycling through Europe, working at festivals, building furniture in the uk and recently just got back from nearly 2 years in New Zealand.

We both have many interests, from music and art, exercise and outdoor activities, to DIY van conversions, painting, and carpentry.

Josephine is an artist currently not practicing as travelling around, mostly painting landscapes of the river she grew up on.
Josephine is the youngest of 4 siblings and spends a lot of time visiting, working and living with her siblings and family. She was bought up in the country side by the river and spent most of her life on the river swimming and camping. She’s always travelled whilst working seasonally and trying different things. Currently part of a family business working part time helping her dad with his Container and modular home business.

I am a trained joiner and have also spent time working repairing antique furniture as well as handy work around the county I live in. In New Zealand I was working in a high end joinery shop building kitchens and furniture.
I am from a family of 4 and was brought up moving around, but mostly based in the midlands in the UK. I studied for 4 years living in Edinburgh and Brussels, where I learnt fluent French (I’m very interested in language). I have also travelled a lot and worked seasonally, always looking for a variety jobs and to learn many skills.

Me and Josephine have worked together painting and renovating the cottage we lived in, fully converting a couple of camper van ourselves as well as making bespoke furniture.

We have done 2 Workaway’s so far, 1 during our cycle trip, it was a very positive experience and time well spent in Pula, Croatia, and we want to have more great experiences like it. We just finished another one which was a Woofing experience but actually we lined and converted a shed and built furniture for them in New Zealand. We're very familiar with seasonal work, living and working together with others, and enjoying ourselves while taking pride in our work, for example spending 4 months making pizzas at festivals across the UK.

We are also very interested in music and speaker production and hoping to start our own speaker manufacturing. We have recently built and sound system and have also built hi Fi speakers too.

We are happy to help with all sorts of jobs, from gardening and building, to artwork or childcare. But we both seek activities that can help others while hopefully learning something new. We are keen workers and enjoying being busy whilst having fun too.

We love to live outside, hike,surf, meet new people, learn new skills, and visit beautiful places.
