Hello everyone!

My name is Joey and I'm from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I've been living as a nomad for the past four years.

Although I'm a newbie to Workaway, I've had the pleasure of being a part of cultural work exchanges throughout my recent and prior travels around the world.

I have a great love for travelling and learning about different cultures. I've always felt the best education is a travel-focused education. Gaining this knowledge and understanding through first-hand experiences is truly priceless.

Life in itself motivates me. I believe it's too short not to. Because of this, I try my best to remain in the present and enjoy each moment as it comes.

I have a great love for meeting people, nurturing the environment, and living a minimal and sustainable lifestyle. I'm a person who values experiences over things and I'm always eager to learn more about the world around us.

I find my best moments are when I'm surrounded by like-minded people who enjoy helping others and being a part of a community. This would ultimately land me right into my happy place.

I look forward to starting my Workaway journey and I do hope that we may have the opportunity to connect along the way!
