Hey everyone! 👋

Myself and Zack have been together for 4 years now, meeting for the first time in a ski resort called Whistler in Canada where we worked and snowboarded on the mountain for 3 years. We eventually decided to take on Europe, we based ourselves in London and for the past two years have travelled to different countries to hike, snowboard and experience different cultures!

Our time in London is coming to an end, we’re planning on spending majority of this summer in Europe, immersing ourselves into less explored corners of the world where we can truly appreciate the uniqueness of different people, landscapes, and most importantly, food! We are a pair of easy going people that are both fluent in English, hard working and flexible with the jobs we take on. We have both worked in different sectors of hospitality for over a decade with kitchen, bartending, cleaning, maintenance, serving and admin being some areas we’ve spent extended periods of time in.

✈️ We’re excited to take on our first Workaway and hopefully many more to come! We’ll be an upbeat, energetic, friendly addition to any place. We enjoy getting to know everyone around us and gaining knowledge of the people and history of every place we go.

🙋‍♀️ A bit about Jaylen -
I’m 28 years old and from Western Australia, I adore the ocean and early morning beach swims! I’ve been travelling for most of my twenties, catching a serious need to see as much of this world as I can. Before travelling I was a desert baker for 7 years, still having that skill I can make some seriously delicious cakes. I’ve also come to fall in love with mountain ranges and snow sports along the way, and consider myself a big foodie and enjoy tasting all the traditional delights of every country.
I have my WSET level 2 wine certification and emergency first aid certificate.

🙋‍♂️ A bit about Zack-
I'm a 26 year old Canadian with a passion for the outdoors, travel and history. I love exploring new places and immersing myself in different cultures, weather its hiking though nature or learning about the rich history of the places I'm lucky enough to visit. My curiosity about the world has lead me to seek out unique experiences, and i believe a workaway offers the perfect opportunities to connect to local communities and contribute to meaningful projects. I'm happy to my help wherever is needed, whether its cleaning, farming, administration or assisting with any hands-on task. I'm always eager to learn new skills and share my positive attitude with everyone i meet. Looking forward to making lasting memories.

We have a wide range of skills between us, alongside a solid work ethic and eagerness to learn we believe we can be a good fit in most Workaways.

🛠️ Zack has previous experience in various Labor/Maitenance roles and extensive experience from many years working within hospitality roles including: customer service, cooking, bartending, administration, reception and purchasing within finance teams.

🍽️ Jaylen has been in hospitality for a decade, gaining knowledge in most sections. Seven years kitchen experience including baking, corporate catering and short order cooking. Strong Restaurant/Hotel service and cleaning.
