"Hello! Let us introduce ourselves:
Benja, 25 years old; Javi, 22 years old; and Picle, 6 years old. We crossed paths in this universe 6 years ago, and shortly after getting to know each other, Javi rescued Picle from the streets when he was only 2 weeks old. When Javi finished school, we made the decision to become independent, and our dream of traveling the world, learning about different cultures, meeting people, experiencing climates, landscapes, and enjoying life has always been on our minds. Throughout these years, we have worked to make our dream come true, and finally, ¡¡The long-awaited moment has arrived!!

We believe that the WorkAway method aligns perfectly with our principles, as we firmly believe in mutual assistance between individuals and how, together, we can achieve great things. We are fully committed and ready to give our best.

Benjamin: Hello! How are you? Let me tell you a bit more about myself. If I had to describe myself in three words, they would be temperance, love, and perseverance. Since I was a child, I have been deeply involved in sports. During weekends, I used to go jogging with my father, and I have always been part of the soccer teams in my school, both in the school selections and private teams. Viewing my body as a temple that takes care of me and allows me to experience incredible things like speed, adrenaline, concentration, and confidence has been an integral part of my life.

Since 2013, I have been part of an amateur soccer team formed with some of my school selection teammates, and we compete in amateur leagues every year without fail. Besides soccer, I excel in other sports. When I was younger, I was invited to join the school's track and field, handball, and basketball selections. However, due to my soccer training and matches, I couldn't pursue them extensively.

The combination of sports and nature has become my passion. One of my ideal places is running in the rain or along the beach with Picle, my dog, or swimming in the sea at sunrise with Javi.

My dream is to contribute my bit to raise awareness among people and take care of the world we live in. I strongly believe that everything can be achieved through love and respect. I like to be meticulous and detail-oriented in the things I do, and I would say that's how I show my love.

Javiera: Hi there! How are you? :) It's difficult for me to define myself in three words, as I've always felt that human words don't accurately capture the feelings or expressions of a being, and I also attach great importance to words. But based on what people tell me, and I suppose I agree(hahaha), I am empathetic, creative, and responsible.

One of the things I enjoy the most is connecting with beings. I am quite sociable with plants, animals, and people around me. I like to observe, listen, and share. I could spend hours contemplating a flower and then drawing it with great detail.

I have been involved in sports since I was very young, including swimming, athletics, gymnastics, cycling, climbing, and horseback riding. But what I have cherished the most is cheerleading, which I have been doing since I was 5 years old. In 2016 and 2018, I had the opportunity to compete in a world championship with my national team, and it was one of the best experiences of my life. The best part was getting to know people from different nationalities united by the same sport.

My ideal place is being on a surfboard, "imagining" that I can hear the heartbeat of the sea. I love going to sleep cuddled up with Picle and Benja, eating a plate of pasta prepared by my mom, and dreaming about Elvis (my childhood dog who has passed away). My dream, or rather one of my life purposes, is to contribute peace, love, and balance through my being. And when it comes to my life dream, it is to fully enjoy every moment in this earthly world. I consider volunteering a significant step towards fulfilling my dream to the fullest.

Picle: If we had to describe Picle, there are no words that truly capture him, but the closest would be happiness, life, and loyalty. Picle is the best brother, son, friend, cousin, and grandchild one could have. He absolutely loves eating salami and drinking water from places with soil. He enjoys adventures, such as riding a bike, being in a car with good music, climbing a hill, running on the sand, and sleeping for hours while we watch a series.

He is a very cheerful and playful dog, but at the same time, he is calm, obedient, and independent due to his training. We believe that his purpose in life is to live and enjoy. As long as he can be with us, his tail will never stop wagging.

We are a family completely willing to learn, teach, and experience new things, so we would be delighted to be volunteers.

Benjamin: As a graduate in Biotechnology, I possess a great deal of perseverance, responsibility, and the ability to approach things from a more critical and analytical perspective. The objective of biotechnology is to create something new from something already existing using technological techniques and tools. I am skilled at finding solutions and believe that there is always something positive to be salvaged from any situation. I am familiar with processes such as beer, wine, bread, and cheese production (early milestones in biotechnology). Additionally, I have aptitude for data analysis in statistics and bioinformatics.

During my undergraduate thesis, I specialized in Plant Biotechnology, specifically discovering and identifying genes expressed in drought-resistant plants. As a result, I am constantly studying topics related to climate change, greenhouse effect, and I have extensive knowledge of plant metabolism. This enables me to understand the best ways to care for all types of plants and identify nutrient, water, or light deficiencies.

From the age of 16, I have been working in customer service, primarily as a waiter. I have gained experience working at events such as weddings, graduation parties, restaurants, and cafés. This process has also shaped me into a barista, bartender, and a waiter who will always serve you with a smile and explain the menu as many times as necessary. My attention to detail and perseverance have always stood out in my work, and my physical condition has also been an asset, allowing me to perform at 100% with the best disposition until the end of my shift.

Javiera: for the past two years, I have been running a home studio where I offer cosmetology services such as eyelash lifting and tinting, eyebrow shaping and laminating, relaxation massages, lymphatic drainage, post-operative massages, aesthetic massages, and Reiki. Additionally, I am a professional makeup artist specializing in social, media, FX, and bridal makeup, complemented by hairstyling and image consulting services. I have studied and continue to take courses and masterclasses to stay updated in the field. I am also trained in performing gel manicures.

I have extensive experience working as a hostess, waitress, and bartender for various types of events. I frequently provide pet care and walking services, house-sit when owners are on vacation or attending other events, and take care of children ranging from 5 months to 5 years old.

I have volunteered for many animal rescue foundations, helping abandoned or mistreated animals. Additionally, I have been involved in foundations/organizations that provide food and shelter to homeless individuals. As a volunteer, I offer my massage services to the elderly in nursing homes.

I am knowledgeable in administering injections and following basic needle handling protocols.

As a couple, we embrace any work opportunity that comes our way with open arms. We have experience painting both the interior and exterior of houses, taking care of children and pets, and selling juices, water, and lemonade during festive occasions such as Christmas fairs. We also take advantage of high-traffic events like national elections to sell water outside polling stations.

The truth is that we are willing to take on any type of work and strive to excel in it. If we encounter something we don't know how to do, we will study it, seek references, and approach the task with the expertise of a knowledgeable professional.

We are open to all kinds of experiences at this stage of our journey, and we are ready to make a positive impact wherever we go.
