I am a optimistic and positive person who is not afraid of hard work. I will be the last person on the hike still chatting away even though we are all quite tired, and I will be the first person to laugh instead of moan when something goes wrong. I love nature and animals, especially as I grew up with dogs and many hiking and camping trips. I loved in Tanzania as a kid which gave me a deep love for wildlife and wide open spaces like the ocean and national parks. I strongly believe we should care for animals and nature just as we care for each other, which led me to becoming vegan 4 years ago. I cannot wait to start travelling with work away, to work hard for these causes, and connect with people.

I have adored the dogs in my household since I was 4 years old, and I have been the primary caretaker for my current dog since we got her 7 years ago. I have good instincts and a great deal of love for dogs and all animals. I have also looked after other people's dogs, for instance, some of which had behavioural problems that were difficult (but manageable) to handle. I would also say I am a fairly good cook and can create tasty and nutritious vegan meals for myself and others. I have experience hiking, as I have been on many walking holidays including wild camping. I am generally a hard worker and even though I may not have many specific, expert skills, I am very eager to learn and put in the effort.

I have many hobbies and interests such as card games or board games, which I love to teach people, and creating art whether sketching or more complicated forms. I love to spend hours absorbed in a book, and I equally love to spend hours absorbed in conversation. I am not good at sports but I love participating as an amateur. I also love to bake.
