My name is James, I'm 27 and I'm from Scotland.
I arrived in Brisbane in July, volunteered for a month and then worked 6 months on a dairy farm in Victoria.
I'm now looking for a mellow place to keep myself busy and keep my fitness up before a trip to Nepal in April.
I'm easy going, enjoy the natural world, music, slack lining/high lining, rock climbing, hiking, reading, and art.
I have been travelling through India and Vietnam for the past 5 months, before that was living at home in Scotland for a year and before that I was living in New Zealand for 3.5 years.
While living here in Scotland I have been working in construction.
I have experience in; Building, Gardening/Permaculture, Teaching, Sound production/music/DJing, Outdoor activities, and some other areas which dont currently spring to mind

I am good with my hands, have good common sense and am a fast learner.
I enjoy working outdoors and creating things.
I can paint, I work with wood and stone.
I taught physical education to children for a number of years.
I enjoy working hard and being in nature.
I am good and enjoy working with animals.
I studied sound production for 4 years in Edinburgh where I started an independent record label and worked alongside many of my friends within the music industry.
I love to mix and play music for people. I hope to DJ and explore ideas in ecstatic dance.
I have a keen interest in many religions and find myself on a journey to discover my faith.

I've embarked on a journey to find wholeness within myself and to fully live in the awareness I have so far only had glimpses of.

I stayed only for a few days at Franks Place and very much enjoyed it.
the work was enjoyable and varied.
Frank was very generous and has a very nice property. lots of space and cool spots to hang out.
told me how to board the boat even though he was not in town.
The work was fair and the stay was comfortable and unique.
Elliot was kind and friendly. I enjoyed chatting with him and he showed me a cool limitless surf break which you would drive straight past normally.

The work of maintaining the garden/bushland, and assisting in some creative projects has been fun, varied and casual.
As long as the work is done, Nina didn't mind me doing extra one day and having the next day off.
