  I am a single woman (no kids) living on 10 acres of very beautiful garden and Australian bushland. My house and land is located 14 kilometers from the Brisbane CBD in a suburb called Pullenvale. My land is immediately surrounded by the Moggill Conservation Park which is a wonderful place for birdwatching, hiking, mountain bike riding. I have fairly recently purchased the property.
  
  I am a very quiet, solitary person and I work from home. I very rarely have visitors and enjoy reading, hiking and gardening in my spare time. I share my life with a tiny toy poodle - she is immaculately clean and non-shedding and loves to play with her toys and playing 'fetch' in the garden. I am artistic and creative and I work as a construction law consultant. I bought this house and land with the intention of buying a pony/horse so I'm slowly preparing my land for a horse.
  
  Although I am very helpful and friendly, and I prioritize your comfort and the quality of your experience, when I share a house with someone I tend to seek out privacy and stay in my own areas/rooms. I am not a super-sociable person and therefore I like my guests to respect my privacy/quiet time.

  Myself and my neighbors are very interested in bushcare and land regeneration. We all volunteer in the conservation park next door by doing plant, wildlife and bird 'surveys' and also by doing volunteering weeding days. There is an abundance of native wildlife all around the house and land - I have kangaroos, bandicoots, goannas, wedge-tailed eagles, many kinds of native birds including tame kookaburras and parrots in my garden and on my verandah on a regular basis. This place is perfect for a naturist/outdoorsman. The conservation park next door is excellent for mountain biking, birdwatching, horse-riding, hiking.

  I am offering accommodation in a lovely, clean, tidy, luxurious house in exchange for help around my garden and land. I will provide fully serviced accommodation (including internet, electricity and water) in exchange for approximately 2 hours of work per day. This can be performed daily or over longer periods on certain days/weekends. Often I will be working with the guest, as I am passionate about my home and garden and enjoy the work - I just don't have time to do it all!
  
  The majority of the work is weeding - both of the formal garden area and the bush/forest area. I am dedicated to bushland care and regeneration and spend a lot of time identifying and removing weeds to return my land to 'pristine'/'undisturbed' state. Another project that I'm working on is collecting rocks from around my land and transporting them to all of the garden beds to repair and improve all of the rock boundaries around all of the garden beds. I do this with a wheelbarrow. This is not hard work (I have been doing it myself for several months) but it's just time consuming. If my guest has other useful skills then the work/projects could be changed to other improvements around my home. I will accept guests for a minimum of 3 or 4 days up to a couple of months. If the person is staying for a longer period of time is looking to earn money, my suburb is FULL of acreages and mansion homesteads and owners looking for casual gardening and maintenance labor. It is very easy for a local person to find casual work.
  
  My home is very modern, beautiful and comfortable. The suitable person would respect my living habits however - which is to conserve water and electricity as much as possible. Buying and maintaining a property of this value and size is extremely expensive and therefore my house guests must assist me to minimize my bills by not taking long showers or being wasteful. I'm not obsessive about these things but I do require the person to show respect to this issue.

  Private bedroom fully furnished with private bathroom and private (small) lounge/sitting/TV room. Shared kitchen. Guest must be very clean and tidy especially in the kitchen. My kitchen and communal areas always look like a magazine.

  Depending on the planned lifestyle/activities of the guest, it may be necessary for the guest to have their own car or motorcycle or bicycle if the guest plans to do a lot of activities like going into the Brisbane CBD. There is a very good, regular bus that goes from Pullenvale to Brisbane CBD (and back) however, the distance between my home and the bus stop is approximately 4km. I am available to provide transport to and from the bus stop on some occasion, but not regularly. The guest can do anything in their spare time that they could do if they're staying in the in Brisbane/city although if they don't have a car, they will need to use public transport.
