Welcome.
My name is Isy. I'm a 24 years old girl from Germany.
I finished my apprenticeship as occupational therapist this year and therefore I like to take a break for traveling again. By the way I'm really interested in psychology, neurology and the human body.

I enjoy spending time outside in the nature for example with horses (and also other animals), working with and around them for improving my riding and groundwork skills. During the last year I had a riding/grooming share for a lovely 24 year old pony.

In my spare time you could also find me often in the circus occupied with training juggleing, hanging on the trapeze, making acrobatics or teaching it to some kids. And if not I'm maybe outside in the garden or in nature with some animals, my camera or for hiking. I enjoy spending my time with learning and trying out new stuff. From time to time I like it as well to visit cities.

I've had already lots of great experiences with Workaway and I'm looking forward to help and get in contact with more people/places/tasks.

I'm looking forward to gather new experiences! I'm a handy person that's willing to learn whatever should be done.

GARDENING and NATURE
I enjoy finding and planting food by myself. I had a really small area next to my flat with some vegetables and flowers the last years. As my family has a big garden area with vegetables, fruits, herbs and flowers, I learned a lot about it during the years.

ANIMALS
I love being and working with and around animals. Horses and dogs are my favorites and those I have the most experience with.

HORSES
I can handle horses and I know in which situation I have to be careful. I'm saddle-fast and for me its important to be gentle and fair with riding. As I know that all horse people have their own different rules and ways to handle their horses, I'm sometimes hesitantly at the beginning.
I have made some basic experiences in 3 different workaway places with horses in Germany and Sweden in the last 4 years. There I learned a lot about these beautiful animals. For example, I fed and cared for almost 20 young horses. I cleaned stables and fields and when I had time, I worked with ponies: Groundwork (trying out Natural Horsmanship) and bareback riding in the forests or on the arena, sometimes also a little riding lesson. But I'm definitely not a professional!
In any case, I'm looking forward to learn more and improve my skills.

DOGS
Years ago I spend a lot time with training a young dog from friends. I really love to train, play and spend time with dogs.

I do have basic simple mostly vegeterian COOKING skills. Also I do have HOUSECLEANING skills, but I usually prefer to do outsidework. But I like baking cakes or cookies from time to time.

Besides, I also like producing things by myself. So I made alot
PAINTING, REPARING, HANDICRAFT (like knitting, chrochet, sewing, pottery, basket weaving) work.
Moreover, my father taught me some carpentry skills (also if he isn't a carpenter either) and I helped building a small gardenhouse years ago. But I would need some explanation!

People told me, that I'm good in computer stuff, also if I don't really like it. But nevertheless I can help you with the basics.
I'm able to TEACH circus stuff and basic school skills. I've worked with children in many different contexts (like kindergarten, circus, therapy).
