Descripción
Hi! My name is Isabella. I have been living in Scotland for the past 4 years and recently decided that I want to travel and work abroad. I'd be looking for a job involving gardening, animals, art projects, eco projects, farming or general maintenance.
I'm a very active person and enjoy everything from hiking, biking, and climbing. I love moving, trying new sports and being outdoors, it's my favourite place to be.
I love arts and crafts. I spend alot of time drawing, crafting, making and, crocheting. I'm always inspired to create and would love to learn carpentry, wood carving, pottery, weaving, jewellery making and so much more. Honestly anything I can get my hands on! I run my own little crochet/craft shop, where I travel around selling at art markets.
I'm super passionate about animals! I love being around them, working with them and caring for them. I understand how hard animal care is and I'm more than happy to put the effort in.
I'm excited to know more about plants, nature and the environment. I'm really interested in the science behind gardening, aswell as biology and ecology. I'm fascinated with the connection humans and animals have with the world around us and each other. I will happily sit and listen if that's something you love to chat about!
I began backpacking and Workaway at the start of 2025. I found that I loved travelling and meeting new people. I love hearing peoples stories and learning about their cultures, picking up new skills and pieces of people languages was amazing to me.
I have since volunteered with lots of Workaways all of which I adored! Once I'd returned home all I could think about was where I wanted to go next!

I have basic knowledge of DIY, building and gardening, but definitely eager to learn more!
I have worked at a rockclimbing wall and in hospitality. I can paint, sew, love being outdoors and always looking to learn a new skill!

The work was really well communicated and explained to all the volunteers. It was definitely tiring but something I loved doing! The hostel is such a lovely place to stay. And I loved Penang!
