Hello All!

Isabel and Ray here. We are two 24 year olds from California, traveling around Europe from July 2024-July 2025, before we begin graduate school. We're hoping this will be a time of expanding our worldview, immersing ourselves in new environments and cultures, forming connections, and developing our creative crafts. Isabel is a fiction writer, and Ray studies Ancient Greek literature and plant medicine.

Both of us have experience traveling overseas, and Isabel previously lived in the Balkans for four months working with youth groups, so we're skilled at managing the cultural differences that come with travel -- in fact that's our favorite part! We have a variety of skills and experiences that we'd love to contribute:

We share skills in childcare and family support. Ray is a former PreK teacher and leads activities for after care at The Nueva School in Hillsborough, CA--a design learning institution incorporating innovative techniques in SEL, outdoor play, and neurodiverse support. He is confident leading both educational and engaging activities with children ages 3-10. Isabel has a decade of babysitting and nannying experience. She has worked as a teaching assistant for kids with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Call on us to help you out with all your new projects and care needs! We are both also semi-experienced in agriculture and care of farm animals. Our love for animals also spans into raising kittens and training service dogs for neurological disorders (one of which is pictured in our photo album, licking his nose :) ).

We share a passion for food, are always hungry (literally) to learn new cooking techniques, recipes, and try new cuisines. For over a year, Ray worked in a French Bakery, learning the trades of cooking and baking. He is obsessed with Paul Bocuse and Joël Robuchon and has begun a blog as he works through their recipes! We will be thrilled to dive into the foods and traditional techniques of each place we stay–and would love to help with daily cooking tasks.
