Hey, my name is Irini and I’m 18 years old. From October I’ll be spending three months in Colombia (near Cartagena) doing volunteer work. After that, I plan to travel through Peru and Chile and maybe even join another project along the way.
I’m really curious and motivated to get to know new cultures, learn a new language, and meet people from all over. I love traveling, sports (especially tennis and skiing), music, and photography .
I’d describe myself as creative, empathetic, and responsible. I’m also very determined and really looking forward to contributing to projects that can make a positive difference for others.

I have already gained a variety of experiences. For example, I worked as a promoter at a major athletics event, where I was involved behind the scenes to help the event run smoothly. I also worked as a promoter for smaller companies and NGOs, actively approaching people to raise awareness and encourage donations to support people in need.
In addition, I completed three internships at a tennis tournament, where I supported ticket sales and logistics. I also work as a babysitter twice a week, where I spend time with children, playing games or doing creative activities with them.
I grew up bilingual in German and Greek, speak English fluently, and have basic knowledge of Spanish. I have also traveled extensively, which has given me the ability to adapt easily to new experiences, cultures, and challenges.
