Hi! We are Ilenia and Richi, two curious and open-minded people who love traveling and meeting new people. We both enjoy sports (Ilenia: rhythmic gymnastics, pole dance and dancing in general, Richi: skateboard, snowboard, discgolf, mountain biking, hiking, and more) and we love nature. I (Ilenia) was born in a big city in Italy, but moved almost two years ago to a small village in Germany, where my boyfriend Richi lives - and I absolutely love it! There's so much green, fresh air, a great community!
We both like reading books (of all kinds of books!) and are animal lovers: we have a sweet cat named Wilson.
Professionally, I (Ilenia) work as a project coordinator for the European volunteer programme, which I truly enjoy because it allows me to connect with people from all over the world and support them on their journeys. Richi is a social worker who works with kids in an after-school sport center. We are both sport coaches!
We don’t have a specific destination in mind yet, but we’d love to travel more sustainably! This would be our first Workaway experience and we're excited to be part of it!

We’d love to help with gardening, small indoor and outdoor jobs, animal care, and DIY projects! While I’m still new to this world, I’m eager to learn and get involved. My boyfriend, on the other hand, has a lot of experience—he’s passionate about gardening and has been taking care of green spaces at our place for years. Right now, we’re renovating our own garden and working on various DIY projects, so we’d love to share what we know and also pick up new skills along the way!
