Hi, I am Gulru (46 yrs), traveling with my son Can (11 yrs). I am a freelancer (communications consultant mostly working for EU funded community projects) having some free time occasionally and I love to travel and get out of the routine! We started traveling with workaway 2 year ago, as my son becomes a good buddy to HELPaway! He is very good at painting (visual arts), and he is also a plants freak. I am learning ceramics and we both are passionate about gardening. What motivates us the most is learning new skills and we are very excited to meet new people and make the day for each other!

I can offer you help in the house and outdoor works and my little one being a plants freak can help especially with the garden work. We are taking care of some 60+ plants at home and a small vegetable garden (mostly tomatoes and herbs) and a few fruit trees at the backyard. We would love to help you in garden for planting, pruning, harvesting, weeding etc..

Both me and my son love drawing, painting and pottery. We would be happy to help you in DIY projects also, painting, sanding and whatever we can do and learn new things!

I can also help creating audio visual (video editing, photography and simple infographics) content for social media..

I love walking in nature, practicing yoga and painting.. My little one is a piano learner and is very good at visual arts, a promising artist-to-be :)
