Hello all! I'm Gabriel, I'm a recent college graduate (studied Social Thought and Political Economy) and have decided to spend the next several years of my life experiencing the diversity and beauty of life- culture, nature, ideas, etc., through travel. I’m constantly inspired to explore on and off the beaten path, to meet strangers who become friends, to jump into a jam session or pick-up soccer game. I enjoy spending my time cooking, reading philosophy, learning new instruments, swimming with friends, writing poetry, napping in a hammock, and hiking. In my recent life I’ve been studying at university, bartending, playing drums in several bands, taking motorcycle trips throughout New England, USA, and traveling to a dozen or so other countries, including studying abroad in Bhutan this last fall. I'm glad to soon be back on the global trail and for new adventures!

Que habilidades tienes?

I have intermediate Spanish language skills (that I hope to improve). From work experience as a cook, barista, and a bartender (and personal interest in cuisine) I have skills in cooking and mixology, and costumer service, etc. I’m highly organized and love to help on organizational and design projects. I've had several maintenance jobs and have basic skills in basic carpentry and construction, painting, landscaping, indoor maintenance, cleaning, grounds work, animal care, etc. I also have experience working on farms and in gardens, and have studied permaculture design and practice. Additionally I’m a experienced writer, I can play and teach music (drums, guitar, bass, keys, clarinet, saxophone, music production softwares), I’m good with kids (used to babysit as a teenager), and importantly I am open to learning many more things!
