Hello!

We are in Ireland since early January. After a first stop for a month in an Climate-Action-Organization in West-Cork, we stay now with a very nice family close to Cork.

We are a French-german couple from Strasbourg in France having a couple of months break abroad. We both love Irish culture and language and like to dive into it, living with people and helping them. Our 18 and 23 years old children having left home, we hit the road again to discover a new country. Indeed, we have been living several years in Spain, Germany and France. Working in the higher education and journalism, we are open to discover other activities such as agriculture, tourism, cultural projects.

In summer 2023 we travelled about Ireland two weeks and we loved it. Now we would like to spent several weeks in different parts of your country and in different projects. Speaking French, German and Spanish, we appreciate the English language, we are fluent speakers and we are looking forward to speak it on a daily basis. We don’t have special manual skills, but we renovated an old house, we like gardening, cooking and we would be happy to be part of your project.

We are open-minded people with a rich social and cultural life, we like gathering friends for any occasion. Having moved and travelled a lot, we adapt easily to new situations. We love music, we play the guitar and sing together, Maries paints with water-colors, we practice yoga and meditation, swimming and volley-ball. We enjoy go hiking in the mountains including for week-long trips. We are now keen on discovering the wild Irish landscapes.

Working in the higher education and journalism, we are used to coordinate projets and teams but are willing to discover other activities such as agriculture, tourism, cultural projects. We are used to work hard, we consider ourselves well organized and we love teamwork. We are responsible people and we can work in autonomy. We don’t have special manual skills, but we renovated an old house, we like gardening and we would be happy to be part of your project.
