Hello!
I am Evie, a 19 year old animal lover, people person and life enthusiast who is passionate to travel.
I am currently taking a gap year, before studying Psychology at the University of Nottingham in September 2025. During my gap year I will be backpacking around South East Asia with the aim to Volunteer throughout.
My dream is to broaden my experience and understanding of life and the diversity our world has to offer beyond my rural hometown in the Northeast of England. Having the opportunity to meet new people, help out families and embark on new adventures excites me.
Maintaining an active and healthy lifestyle brings me joy. I love to try new hobbies, sports and activities. I thrive when helping people and keeping my brain active. I work in a busy Leisure Centre where I constantly help the general public. At home I keep myself busy by baking, taking care of our pets, socializing with my friends and family whilst helping out with running our household. As the youngest of 3 children, I am mature and independent, but love to let my hair down and party with my friends too! Above all, I am bubbly, easy going and always aim to put people at ease 😊

Que habilidades tienes?

I am English, I am learning French and am open and keen to learn more languages.
I enjoy listening to music, having sung and played the drums in a band (at a fun and basic level).
I have been in some form of employment since I turned 13. I am punctual, work well in a team and can be trusted to take the role of a leader.
I am academic, having achieved 10 GCSEs grade 7 , and 3 A levels.
I love to cook and bake new and old recipes.
I enjoy volunteering to help the community; my proudest achievement was raising over Eur1,500 for a local charity by planning, prepping cooking and serving over 60 three course meals to the public.
I am quick to pick up skills and am enjoying new activities in my gap year such as climbing, horse riding, paddle boarding and long distance running.
I am great with children. Although I do not have any younger siblings to help take care of, I frequently child mind for up to 2 weeks at a time and babysit for local families. I have also helped younger children with school work on video calls during and after Covid.

I enjoy completing Sudoku and playing card games in my free time.
When I have time, I love to visit our local horse riding stables with my mum where we help out on the yard and exercise the horses together. Most of all, I love being close to or in the water having as much fun as possible!
