Hello, my name is Kaon, and I’m from Japan. In 2024, I took a gap year from university to explore the world and had wonderful experiences thanks to the kindness of local people who showed me around.

I graduated from university in Tokyo in 2025 and moved back to my hometown, Toyama, a place rich in nature 🌳 As a way to give back, I love helping travelers discover Japan and sharing time together. And I feel truly blessed to be able to stay connected with the amazing people I met during my travels. If you’re ever traveling to Japan, I’d be more than happy to show you around!

Currently, I work as a Japanese tutor while also helping out at my mother’s café and recently starting a job in real estate. I’m always eager to try new things and full of curiosity.

Where I grew up is very rural area with mountains, and I enjoyed physical activities since when I was a small kid, so I have a confident about my physical strength. I want to help anything including manual labor.
